Freebie Friday- Whomi Calendar

Well, October AND November flew by, so it's already here again... FREEBIE FRIDAY!  {Ok, so it's a little late, but hey, we were still in a turkey coma over here}

In case you missed it the first time:  Occasionally, we're going to have a "Freebie Friday" (chosen at random) and give away a cool product or gadget.  Pretty neat, huh?  We think it's a win-win situation - someone will win a great product, and lots of someones will get to see a few of our favorite items!

This is how it will work:

- On "Freebie Friday", we will post the awesome product we're going to give away.

- Once posted, you will have one week to make a comment on that blog post and be entered to win (You can post anything really- as long as it's clean.... how much you love the product, how many pairs of shoes you have, whatever). 

- Everyone who posts a comment on the "Freebie Friday" post will be entered once. 

- At the end of the week, we will choose a winner at random from the entries on that blog post.

- If you're the winner, we'll contact you by email (now wouldn't that be exciting!?)

Would you feel better about the odds if you had two entries?  Ok then... If you would like one additional entry, just become a fan of us on Facebook, post an additional comment on the "Freebie Friday" blog post to let us know you've become a fan (or already are one), and you will get a second entry.... but then that's it!  You can only have a maximum of two entries.

This "Freebie Friday" giveaway is a very cool and useful agenda from Whomi (a $32.00 value)!

Here it is:  Each agenda "page" shows 4 calendars in one!  The top on (in white) is YOUR schedule.  The three on the bottom (in the different colors) can keep track of 3 other schedules (for Susie, Bobbie, and Tommy... or for school, work, and volunteering... or for WHATEVER you need to keep track of!  Smart, eh?  What mom-on-the-go wouldn't be able to utilize this super agenda on steroids?  It's the ultimate, compact family organizer!

'Tis the Season

Well,we're wrapping up Day #2 of Holiday Happening, and it's been fun!  We've enjoyed seeing our regular customers and loved meeting new ones too.  Thanks to all of you that have stopped by to say "hello" and check out our colorful booth.  If you haven't made it out to the show yet but are still planning to go, tickets are only $7 and can be purchased at the door.  Come on over and shop your little heart out!  And don't forget to stop by and say "hi"!  (We're in booth #303-304... the one with the pink carpet!)

 

Holiday Happening 2010

We are so excited to be participating in our 3rd Holiday Happening here in Lubbock.  What is Holiday Happening, you ask?  It's a holiday show that is put on by the Junior League of Lubbock to benefit the local Food 2 Kids program.  Food 2 Kids is an amazing operation that packs "take home" snacks for kids in need, serving almost a thousand students EVERY WEEK.  These kids who might not otherwise have any nutritious food at home over the weekend are given the opportunity to have something nutritious available to them and their siblings.  It's a HUGE need here in Lubbock, and even with over a hundred volunteers, funding a project like this is enormous!

The largest fundraising opportunity for the Food 2 Kids program is Holiday Happening, where over 140 vendors set up booths and sell great products (just in time for Christmas shopping)!  If you're interested in attending, the event is held at the Lubbock  Memorial Civic Center and general admission tickets are $7.  Doors are open to the public Thursday, November 18th through Sunday, November 21st.  For more details and ticket information, click here.
